Our Testing/Refund Policy
Refund Policy
International Drivers Academy has a 48-hour minimum cancellation period.
Late cancellations or change of schedule will result in a $50.00 per hour of rescheduling fee.
No refunds will be given for late show up after 10min of the appointment.
Pre-Test Requirements
All driving test applicants must have a valid permit. Temporary permits could also be issued by IDA driving school. All applicants must have a mechanically reliable vehicle with valid insurance, current registration and license plate tabs. All vehicles must have working turn signals, brake lights, headlights, emergency flashers, seat belts, brakes, windshield wipers, appropriate (legal minimum) thread on tires, side mirrors and a rear-view mirror. There may be no cracks or chips in the line of vision in the windshield.
Failure to have the required items listed above for your road test
will result in a $50.00 rescheduling fee. No refunds will be given.
After Road Test
Exam scores will be entered into the DOL database within 24 hours. Applicants must pass our knowledge and driving test with a minimum score of 80% on each test respectively. You will have to visit a DOL office to apply for your drivers's license. Passing the driving test does not guarantee an applicant will be issued a driver’s license.
If you received a letter from DOL to take an exam due to a physical, mental, visual or medical issue, you must take the test at a DOL office. Failure to disclose this information prior to testing will result in your test not being honored at DOL and no refunds will be issued.
Pursuant to RCW 46.20.720, a driver convicted of an alcohol offense may be required to have an ignition interlock device (IID). The applicant must take the skills exam in the vehicle using the IID.
Feedback Process
Should you have any questions or concerns about the testing process or have a question after an exam has taken place, please contact our office at 425.524.5995 or you may email us at info@IDAdriving.com
Note: the Department of Licensing reserves the right to conduct random re-examinations;
applicants refusing to take a re-examination may have their license revoked.
