We are currently seeking a Part-time Driving Instructor (20-25 hours per week) at International Drivers Academy in Bellevue, Washington. If you're seeking an enjoyable, flexible, and rewarding job, this opportunity is for you!

As a driving instructor, your responsibilities will include teaching classes, accompanying students on drives, conducting state testing, and handling office administrative tasks. Our role is to coach, encourage, and provide our students with a solid foundation for safe driving. Qualifications:

• US Driver's License for a minimum of 5 years (Required)

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

• High school diploma or GED

• Must be 21 years old and have a driver's license for 5 years

• Valid WA state Driver's License with a mostly clean record. No license suspensions in the past 2 years

• Pass a state/federal background check

• 100 hours of training (provided)

• Good communication skills

• Self-motivated

The training schedule is flexible!

Washington State requires new instructors to complete 100 hours of training, which can be obtained either through colleges offering this coursework or via IDA's in-house courses. If you opt to complete your training with IDA, we will fully cover the cost of your training under a signed contract.
